  1.  Start by logging in to CINAHL.

  2.  Enter your topic keywords into the search boxes. DO NOT click Search yet!

  3.  Down below the advanced search boxes, you will find a list of filters for your search.

  4. Scroll down past the Full Text, Publication Date, Author, Publication, and Clinical Queries sections until you see the check boxes for "First Author is Nurse", "Any Author is Nurse". Check the appropriate box for your assignment.

  5. Check any other boxes or add any additional filters that are needed/required for your search, then scroll back up to your keywords and click the "Search" button to see your results.
